System Requirements



  • Microsoft® Windows XP® (Home or Professional) or Microsoft® Windows Vista®
  • Intel® Pentium® 4, AMD Athlon XP Processor or higher (Multi-Core Systems are not supported)
  • 1 GB free disk space
  • 1 or 2 GB RAM (Windows XP® or Windows Vista®)
  • Video Card with minimum 256 MB RAM and OpenGL 1.5 or higher and DirectX 9.0c or higher support
  • Video display with a resolution of 1024x768 or higher
  • 3 button, scroll-wheel mouse

DirectX support
ARCHline.XP requires DirectX 9.0c or higher.

How can you update your graphics drivers?
First you need to know which graphics card you have.
The easiest way is the DirectX Diagnostic Program:

  1. Click Start
  2. Select Run from the Start Menu
  3. In the RUn box, type dxdiag and press OK
  4. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool launches. Click the Display tab
  5. In the Display tab you will find information about your graphic card, the name or also how much memory is available
If you know the name of your graphic card, visit the manufacturer website to download the latest driver. Typically new drivers are avialable once per month. Some Links of renowned manufacturers
Drivers for laptops are often only refer to the manufacturer of the laptop.
