In the second week of August appears an update version („R2“) of ARCHline.XP® 2009

The R2 is not a completely new release of ARCHline.XP (the version number is 2009), rather, the emphasis is on smaller changes such as bug fixes and other modifications. Anyway, unlike a conventional patch this release includes a considerable number of new features and enhancements based on customer wish lists and feedback.

High-quality rendering engine *

The new LightWorks 8.0 Rendering Engine has been included and contains now ray tracing, radiosity and Global Illumination technology. This enables a significant increase photorealistic images. Some of the new features are:

Support for multi-processor systems i.e. the renderer uses so many processors as they have
Realistic sun - the sun follows her geographical location
Global Illumination offer the possibility to simulate the true illumination of a scene. Through the presentation and calculation of direct and indirect light, diffuse light.
Bumpmapping allows flat textures to give a deep impact (structure)
HDRI (High Definition Range Images) backgrounds as Daylight, clear, light and heavy clouds, sunset, clear and cloudy night

The cost for the material settings, setup the scene, etc. remains the same. Depending on the rendering quality it can lead to long render times come.

High pressure from the DirectX 3D Window**

The quality of direct printing from a DirectX 3D window has been significantly improved in ARCHline.XP ® 2009 R2. Before the data is sent to the printer, occur the improvement of resolution in a separate process. This will increase the DirectX 3D printing quality significantly, and is comparable with that of a vectorial 3D window.

2D floor plan (plan) with the 3D model linking **

This new feature extends the possibilities of representation. With it, it`s possible to demonstrate the data from your 2D window in the 3D window, as a simple vector elements such as lines, polylines, etc. This allows you for example, to visualize a 2D data with a newly created 3D building model.

Cut - to cut line limit **

With this new option, you can adjust the cut-length to the line of the cutting-line.

Cut - Section **

With ARCHline.XP ® 2009 R2, you can create cuts, that only are represent the parts of the 3D model along the cutting-line. The 3D model of the cutting line is not represented.

External References - XREF Move Command

XREFs allows including multiple users in different parts (drawings) of a project to work. XREFs können aktualisiert, verknüpft oder ins Projekt übernommen werden. With the move command you can slide these files also in retrospect.

Measured - Advanced set administration

The existing, universal dimensioningsets are now subdivided by their type. It enables a more sophisticated management of Vermassungssets according to the following types: length, door, windows, height, angle, label, radius and surface dimensioning.

Decoration - improved handling *

The user interface/operator of the decoration command was extended and intergrated in the ARCHline.XP ® 2009 toolbox. This leads to a faster navigation through the elaborate decoration of the commands.

Decoration - Complex patterns *

Using the new allocation models makes it easy to create unique patterns and later to be used as part of the decoration. This distribution pattern may be a single profile (tiles, etc.) with different shapes and textures.

Decoration - on site *

ARCHline.XP ® 2009 R2 enables you to create decorative finishes on site. It`s the simplest way to create decorations on ramps, sidewalks, streets, terraces or other external surfaces.

Besides the new functions, it have been adjusted the following, existing features

Slide management - groups in Sets

Now film groups can be saved permantently in the environment file.

Toolbox - Drawing Settings

The graphics settings of the toolbox have been extended with the subscription settings ie from the Toolbox out, the scale representation of walls, openings and line strengths (formerly scale of the drawing) can be changed. Also applies to DirectX 2D!

Slanted walls - cutting height can be changed

Print Layout - Open external layouts

In ARCHline.XP® 2009 R2, extern print-layouts can be inserted again, so the compatibility with projects, created with ARCHline.XP 2005 or older is given.
