ARCHLine Interior lets you get inside your model and take a walk-through of your design. Using the keyboard or mouse you can easily navigate in the interior space as you do in a video game. You can look around in a room, go through other rooms, climb and descend stairs and ramps.
Import scanned floor plan with precise dimensions
You can import scanned raster image files like JPG, TIFF or BMP. As you are working in CAD software everything you import has to be a precise dimension. The image files are in pixel but not in mm or inch. For this reason first you have to convert the scanned raster image to a real size drawing with calibration. When this phase is ready you can start working on it with real distances.
Import DXW, DWG: Start to work
Already have a CAD drawing of the space you start working on? You can import DXF, DWG files directly into ARCHLine.XP Interior, which makes it easy to start with drawings and even 3D model. If you have the floor plan of the space in DWG file that you need to model, import it, and start to build walls right on top of it.
Import images: Paint walls with pictures
You can import image files like JPG, TIFF, and BMP directly into ARCHLine Interior and convert them as picture. Picture on wall is a dynamic object that can be configured with its parameters in a few steps. You can stick them to walls to create your own unique space.
3D Warehouse: Find your models and insert as furniture
When the building is ready, you can place the furniture and fixtures. ARCHline provides direct access the world's biggest online repository of furniture and other 3D objects the Google 3D Warehouse. It contains every group of furniture what is necessary for the design (e.g.: chairs, tables, kitchen-, living room-, bed room set-ups, accessories, bathroom items, etc.). If the library doesn’t contain the suitable object, you can create it with the 3D solid modeler of the ARCHLine Interior.
Apply materials, colors and tiling to walls or any surface
You can create unique materials with textures, and you can define colors from the range of colors of RAL, PANTONE and SIKKENS color palettes. With the tiling function you can create reticulated, diagonal or special patterns, and you can leave grout space between the tiles. The program calculates and lists the necessary amount of tiles and optionally the price. It also calculates the number of complete tiles and the number of tile pieces smaller or larger than 50% of a complete tile. It is also possible to define custom shaped tiles.
You can create professional, presentation documents using the Print Layout mode to collect floor plans, sections, perspectives, detail drawings, photorealistic images and photos into one paper. Print Layout mode enables to keep changes synchronized. You can make high-resolution prints or save as PDF file , so you can send it to the customer by e-mail. The quantity take-off lists in Excel or Word file.
You can use ARCHline interactive Dynamic Section feature to temporarily cut away parts of your design, enabling you to look inside your model. You can use Sections to create architectural section. Use the section marker commands to move, rotate section plane.
